Chromacolour Cel Paint has been used in numerous award winning animated films over the years. In the days when animation was hand painted, we used to produce cel paint by the gallon. We also incredibly used to produce over 2000 different colours. Times have changed and although we no longer produce the quantities we once did, we do still supply artists and animators with cel paint around the world.
Chromacolour Animation Cel Paint, is extremely pigment rich and also dries with a matt, flat finish. These properties mean that coverage is achieved with just one coat, as well as ensuring when the paint is dry, the cel remains nice and flat. The matt finish also means that you won't get any unwanted reflections when digitising. When using our Cel Paint, you will enjoy the way it flows beautifully on to our animation cel to produce wonderful results
