Whenever a new keyframe is created, the field guide is simply placed over the drawing to check it's location. This ensures what you want to see on the screen is seen on the screen!

At Chromacolour we suggest using 1.85:1 field guides if you think there's a chance your work will be shown on a cinema screen. You might submit your finished film to festivals, for example and have it featured. Although slightly wider than our 1:77 to 1 Field Guides, which suits TV, 1.85 to 1 will still look good on a 16:9 screen but also voids the risk of having anything cropped when projected onto a cinema screen.
